Brian Godfrey had somehow gained permission to hunt a small sliver of land that ran between Winter Quarters and the blacktop road between Lake Bruin and the levee.

I sat many afternoons, watching deer and turkey pile into a WQ food plot which was across the fence. Even got lucky and killed a few that ventured across the line when they headed out to the levee to feed in the afternoons.

We both cut our "filming" teeth up and down the levee from just south of Tallulah down to Mabry's place. We would hunt with David Vinson, Coates Head, the Collins boys, George Campbell, Keith Biedenharn and a few others.

Just seeing the WQ name brought back a ton of memories for this old man.

I was told at the convention last year that it will not be released on DVD.

I don't know if that decision was made by QDMA or by Boss Productions.
