3900 Acre Needmore Hunt Club (Ware/Coffee Ga. Counties) Looking For 2010/11 Members
The Needmore Hunting Club is located around Bickley, Ga (31°24'19.64"N 82°36'10.56"W). We are a family based Still Hunt Club that has been in existence for the last 30 years. We lease 3900 Acres located in Coffee and Ware Counties, that consist of planted pines, cypress ponds and agricultural fields. The Ag fields are planted with Corn, Soy Beans, Peanuts, Cotton, and Blueberry trees. The roads around and within the property are well maintained so you don’t have to worry about going mud bogging in order to go hunting. We have Deer, Turkey, Quail, Doves, and other small game on the property.
We do NOT have hogs on the property.
We have a maximum of 30 members in the club to hunt the 3900 Acres. However, due to the current economic situation this year, some of our members have found themselves unable to rejoin the club and we have up to three memberships open for the 2010/2011 season.
The membership cost for the club is $1000.00 plus a one-time $100.00 initiation fee. The membership includes the Husband, Wife, and dependent children up to 18 years of age. This covers the cost of the lease and insurance. We do not assign specific areas for members stands, therefore members may hunt all of the property we lease. The property is broken up into five sections/blocks by the county roads. We have pin boxes at the primary entrance locations for each block and the member is expected to pin-in and sign-in showing their location for each AM or PM hunt. When the next hunter comes in they will then know where you are located so that they don’t disturb your hunt. This information is also used as a safety precaution if something happens and we need to come looking for you we at least know where to start looking.
We do have a camp area where members can bring their campers. This area is leased from a landowner in the area based on the number of campers on-site. The cost to have a camper at the Camp is $100.00 each month that the camper is on-site. The Electric Bill is split by the number of campers on-site. There is water on-site and there’s no cost associated to it.
We do not allow drugs on any of the club period. Alcohol use is acceptable ONLY in the designated camp area, if used appropriately and responsibly, after the days hunt is over and all firearms are put away. Use of Alcohol within the gates of the hunt club is prohibited.
We usually have two or three workdays/weekends during the year to maintain club roads, fences, gates, pin boxes, etc. Members are required to make a minimum of two workdays.
