Seriously spraying weeds

Spraying equipment I now have is woefully inadequate for my purposes. A 100gal pull trailer with a 12v pump is not proving adequeate for handling about 15 separate fields/plots ranging in size from 3 to 60acres. The fields are rougher than most will be familiar with and many flood irrigate via corrigations. It's not always possible to spray parallel to the corrigations, so the ride is often very rough and hard on equipment. Does anyone have advice for spraying equipment suitable for such an application? Or know where to go for such advice? Any experience with the smaller self-propelled SprayCoupe machines, and particularly their hardiness in rough applications?

Gee, two questions and a lot of views but no answers. Sorry, I don't have any answers but welcome to the forum. A lot of guys are real busy right now and this forum has been slow. Hopefully somebody can help but a lot of us are learning ourselves.

I certainly do hope someone has fought some of the same problems with habitat rehabilitation of dry land / irrigated properties that I am currently fighting. I'm learing, the hard way, that the trial and error technique is very very experience. Local farmers, although very keen to help out a new guy, have very different objectives (maximizing yields on the best farmland, and letting the marginal areas revert to invasives).

With that much acreage, it may be difficult with ATV rig. Due to uneven terrain, a boomless ATV mounted rig may be better approach, although you'll be limited to about 30 gal per tankful. Tractor with boomless rig and 60 gal tank is what I use for uneven terrain with good results. If you don't have a tractor, maybe you could find a neighbor with tractor to attach your own 3 point PTO driven boomless rig. Good luck

I don't know about your ground, and how well it grows, but is seems like the 60 acre field could be put into production? Alfalfa comes to mind for your dry climate. This would be the best of both worlds, income and attractive food plot. Spraying as much acreage as you are, I'd look for a used commercial sprayer.
