Virginia Double Droptine bow buck

Here's a buck I didn't know existed until two weeks ago. This was my third time seeing him. Gave me a 30 yard shot (which I don't like taking) but I couldn't pass it up either. Haven't got an age on him yet but the taxidermist is going to love me since this will be the second one he's doing for me this year. My season is over (no, I'm not crying...) but good luck to all. PS Oh yeah, my first ever 10 pt also. Don't get many around here...

Tremendous buck, congratulations. I've always wanted a rack with a drop tine, just like that. In addition, congratulations on a tremendous harvest season. Thanks for sharing the pics and the story.

Awesome!!! A rack with double drop tines is the buck of many hunter's dreams (my dreams anyways

Great Deer!!!! Really nicely done photo as well. Always nice to see a hunter who takes the time to compose a nice pic instead the "back of the pickup " shots. Enjoy that one for years to come. CONGRATS!
